Florida SouthWestern guard Amont’e Allen-Johnson will be headed to join a familiar face, at least for Bucs fans, as he has signed to play next season at the University of South Carolina Upstate where he will suit up for the Spartans and former FSW Head Coach Marty Richter.

The #21 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers picked the wrong night to have their worst shooting game of the year, hitting on just 27% from the field and 17% from three point range to fall 68-53 to #7 Chipola to see their season come to an end in the FCSAA Quarterfinals in Niceville.

On the heels of their 2026 Citrus Conference Championship, four players and Head Coach Darrin Wallace have been honored by the league as Mason Blazer, Kenyon Giles, and Tyler Bey have been named 1st Team All-Conference selections, Lamont Hartfield was the top choice on the 2nd Team, and Wallace was named the 2026 Citrus Conference Coach of the Year as announced by the FCSAA Friday.

Blazer Scores 1,000th Point But Bucs Fall in Regular Season Finale

Florida SouthWestern sophomore Mason Blazer scored 22 points to eclipse the 1,000 career point mark, but it wasn't enough as the #21 Buccaneers couldn't slow down the Indian River Pioneers in a 101-85 loss to conclude the 2026 regular season. With the loss the Bucs finish the regular season 23-7 and share the 2026 Citrus Conference Championship with Daytona State with a 13-3 mark in league play.

Bucs Clinch Share of Citrus Title

It was a night of celebration in Suncoast Arena on Wednesday as first the Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers honored their six sophomores playing in their final home games as Bucs in a pregame ceremony before beating the visiting Santa Fe Saints 85-70 to clinch a share of their first conference championship since the 2020 season.

Bucs Take Control of Citrus Race With Win Over #15 Daytona

Keyon Giles scored 27 points to lead the #24 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers over the #15 Daytona State Falcons 88-77 Saturday afternoon in Suncoast Credit Union Arena to put the Bucs alone in first place in the Citrus Conference standings with two games left to go.

Bucs Slam Sharks to Setup Saturday Showdown

The #24 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers hammered the visiting Miami Dade Sharks Wednesday night at home in Suncoast Credit Union Arena, using a 51 point second half to blow out the Sharks 95-55 to set up a showdown for first place in the Citrus Conference Saturday against #15 Daytona State in Fort Myers.

The #21 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers fell behind early and never recovered Saturday afternoon against the Eastern Florida State Titans, dropping an 81-67 decision to see their eight game win streak come to a screeching halt.

Gritty Effort Earns Bucs 20th Win

To rise to the top spot in the Citrus Conference standings, the #21 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers have been lighting up the scoreboard for over 90 points per night during their seven game win streak. Wednesday night they turned to their defense who stymied the Hillsborough Hawks to the tune of just 51 points as they gutted out a 63-51 victory to top the 20 win mark for the eighth time in the 10 years of program history.
